MP Rev-Counter Disk

For Bug 80MPH Clear Needle Speedometer (10/1952 on).
A Rev-Counter for Your 1950s Bug, that would be the most! Unfortunately, fitting a tachometer to the VW is elaborate. You have to cut a hole in the dashboard, connect the tachometer to the engine by running wires or even a tachometer cable to the engine compartment, etc. .
The solution of the problem is the Tourenzähler Scheibe “TS” ( Rev-Counter Disk „TS“ )
In about 1955 the staff of the motorcycle accessory producer “Eichenwald, Neuss” made a transparent disk with rev-scales for each of the four gears, that simply was stuck on the speedometer glass.
The MP Rev-Counter Disk is designed in the style of the original 1950s disk. It provides at 6- and 12-o´clock two little triangles, that simply are stuck between the speedometer glass and the chromed front ring. By this the disk is securely fixed to the speedometer.
The disk´s dial is self-explaining, for each gear of the synchromesh- and non-synchromesh-gearbox there is a suitable rev-scale, the speedometer hand simultaneously gets a rev-counter needle.
The scale fits the combination of 120Km/h / 80MPH clear needle speedometer and gear-ratios of cars from 10/1952 to 8/1960.
A period-correct and useful accessory for the 1950s Volkswagen.
