The logical step to power-up Your Okrasa TS, TSV or TSV RS High-Performance engine: Two Zenith NDIX twin-choke carbs on S-G Intake Manifolds. These precisely machined Cast Aluminium manifolds fit both 25HP and 36HP Okrasa cylinder heads.
The Intake Manifolds are machined to take Zenith 32NDIX carbs, but the manifold-flange can, with some effort, be modified to take Weber DCNF type carbs too. Using these intake manifolds, the Okrasa engine will benefit by the separated intake ducts eliminating “lean suction” and cross-effects between the cylinders during intake stroke. The slightly narrowing intake paths furthermore accelerate the mixture and thus create a “forced induction” effect which will improve cylinder-filling.
The combination of a raised compression ratio and these manifolds with twin-choke carbs enables the use of hot timing camshafts.
We did not yet dynamometer-runs with our test engine but hope to perform tests soon, we then will bring an update concerning this point.
